Music on the Porches

Music on the Porches LogoThis year’s Music on the Porches was held on September 28th. It was the 5th year of this village wide happening which celebrates music in the Cuyahoga Valley!

Merchants and residents alike welcomed musicians to their porches to “make a joyful noise” and fill the valley with music of all genres throughout the day.

The Peninsula Foundation offered five free to the public workshops in the afternoon, including:

  • Bill Lestock – Mandolin
  • Paul Kovac – Banjo
  • Jon Mosey – Piedmont Blues Guitar
  • Jen Maurer & Paul Kovac – Singing Harmonies
  • Brent Kirby & Laurie Caner – Songwriting

In the evening, there was a sold out concert featuring Boy=Girl and Hey Mavis at the historic G.A.R. Hall.
