Preserving Peninsula's Past for the Future.

Python Day – 2011

Perpetuating and preserving the myth of PYTHON day in Peninsula, the Foundation created festive food and fun at the G.A.R. Hall on Saturday, July 16th.

A bountiful luncheon included “snakey joes” and wormy dirt pudding served on the patio. Last year’s hand created Abraham Slincoln resurfaced and joined “Monty Python” to the delight of young python posse hunters all around the village.

The exciting annual Chamber event as always is capped off by the slithering of a 100 foot canvas python supported by village children making its way up Route 303 to the Library on Riverview Road. If you missed it this year, plan to join us in 2012!
